When do I pay for services rendered?

Fee for service is due at the end of each therapy session.

Is counseling at Chid & Teen Counseling covered by insurance?

Child & Teen Counseling is an out-of-network nonprofit organization and many of the therapists on staff are pre-licensed trainees.  As a result, most insurance companies will not reimburse; however, we will offer you a billing statement each month showing what you have paid with all of the appropriate insurance procedure codes for you to submit to your PPO insurance company. They may reimburse you according to your insurance policy.

If you are unsure about your insurance coverage, please call your insurance carrier to see how much your policy will allow for reimbursement. Sometimes it is helpful to ask to speak to a supervisor to get an accurate and up-to-date description of your policy.
